We buy marble blocks and granite slabs from Turkish and Italian sources and process them with our state of the art machines in our factories to bring these beautiful and healthy stones to the end user. Turkish marble

The various types of stones common in use in Turkey are as follows: marble, granite, limestone, dolomite, basalt, sandstone, quartzite, slate, tuffs, onyx, travertine, serpentine, diabase etc.

About 500 marble quarries are operated in more than 45 provinces in Turkey. The most important reserves and processing plants are in Mugla, Balikesir, Denizli, Afyon, Tokat and Canakkale. The marbles extracted from each of these regions have their own characteristic properties and original names.

Turkey has a 40% share of world marble reserves. At present there are more than 100 varieties of Turkish marble and the total reserves including proven, probable and possible are about 5 billion cubic meter. In addition to this, Turkish marble has a quality, which can compete easily with all other worldwide marbles. In Turkey, annual block marble production is about 1,200,000 tons and the production of marble tiles and slabs is 13 million square meters.

Granite has begun to be widely used in Turkey. Today it is extensively used for the inner and outer decoration of buildings because of its appearance and durability against external conditions and high resistance to wear. Turkey has also wide granite reserves in many cities such as: Ordu, Rize, Trabzon, Balikesir, Kirklareli, Kirsehir, Bolu, Izmit, Canakkale and Izmir.

Turkish natural stone export has increased significantly since 1980, in line with the development of Turkey's economic performance and reached $128 million in 1998. This figure includes $96 million for processed marble, $17 millon for block marble and $15 million for granite and other hard stones. In 1998 major markets for Turkish processed natural stones exports were to the USA, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Italy, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
